Athletes commit to run at collegiate level

Alaina Neubauer recently committed to run for DeSales University in Center Valley, PA.

Monroe-Woodbury senior Alaina Neubauer recently committed to DeSales University in Center Valley, PA. Neubauer will join the Women’s Cross Country and Women’s Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field teams. She plans on studying Biology.

When asked about her proudest moment at M-W, Neubauer answered: “Making lasting memories with my teammates and coaches and learning the power of hard work and determination. Joining track and cross country is the best decision I’ve ever made. I’d like to thank my family, coaches. and teammates for making my high school running career so memorable and always believing in me.”



M-W senior Sinéad O’Hanlon has committed to Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY.

In addition, Senior Sinéad O’Hanlon committed to run for Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY. O’Hanlon will run cross country and indoor and outdoor track and field (distance). She will be majoring in media and communications.

“My most proud moment from running since the 7th grade is learning structure and making the greatest friends in the world. The older girls were great role models. I am glad to be going college in general, even happier I will be continuing my running career,” said O’Hanlon.
