The Community

Monroe-Woodbury High School, with a current enrollment of 2400 students grades 9-12 is located 50 miles north of New York City. Serving a rapidly growing population of approximately 23,000 with over 65% employed outside the community, its unique location at the foothills of the Catskill Mountains offers the charm of a clean, rural countryside within easy driving distance of New York City. The community has traditionally offered outstanding support for the school system.  The High School is organized with a House Plan creating smaller learning communities.
