On October 26, 2018, Monroe-Woodbury High School will be holding its first-ever M-W CARES Day for high school students and staff. M-W CARES Day is designed to promote Compassion, Acceptance, Respect, Empowerment and Success throughout the Monroe-Woodbury community. The day will feature assemblies and workshops presented by more than 100 courageous, inspiring individuals whose personal stories of overcoming obstacles and achieving success will change the lives of all who attend. This event is believed to be the largest character education program hosted by a school district in this region.

In support of this powerful student program, individuals, businesses, teams, clubs and more will have an opportunity to purchase a brick for a walkway that will be installed leading up to the front entrance of Monroe-Woodbury High School. The M-W CARES Walkway is expected to be completed by the first day of school for the 2018-2019 school year. The fundraiser has been extended until July 8, 2018.
