MAY 29 -- Guest Speaker! SPQR LATIN HONOR SOCIETY . One thing you can plan ahead for: we will be participating in the afterschool TUTORING PROGRAM in the Library on Tuesday and Thursday from 2:15 to 2:45. This is also a requirement for NHS, so some of you can apply your “volunteering time” to that, also. The TUTORING PROGRAM begins October 2, and each of you will sign up for one session (you can go in pairs, if you wish). I chose Thursday as “our” day, but if Tuesday is better for you, please sign up for a Tuesday. I will give you a sign-up calendar in September. Remember, although you are there to help Latin students, feel free to answer questions in any subject. Samantha Kanterman will be seeing you with the calendar, so you can sign up!
