It is a pleasure to be your child's first grade teacher. In our class, each child is extra special and learning is a fun experience for all.
I have been teaching in Monroe-Woodbury for the past twenty-three years; twenty-two of them have been in the first grade. Teaching for me is the most wonderful profession in the world. I don't consider it just a job. It is part of my life and is my passion. I love helping children not only to become independent learners and thinkers but also to become self sufficient, motivated and enthusiastic human beings.
In our class, every day is full of excitement, exploration and adventure. The children make each day a new and fun learning experience. We all learn from each other. Kindness, sharing, guiding and respecting one another are some of the qualities that we encourage in others and ourselves.
