This past weekend, the school district distributed 2,113 home COVID-19 test kits for students. The state of New York has provided one test kit per M-W student. If you have not yet received a test kit for your child(ren), kits will be available for pick-up at the Education Center, 278 Route 32, Central Valley, on Wednesday, January 12 - Friday, January 14, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. each day.
Parents and guardians must present a photo ID to ensure each M-W student receives a kit. If you are unable to pick-up your test kit during this time period, you may complete the COVID-19 Test Kit Pick-Up Consent form identifying who will be picking up your child’s test kit on your behalf.
Superintendent Rodriguez will be meeting later today with all Orange County superintendents and representatives from the Orange County Department of Health to learn more about changes to quarantine protocols in schools. We should have more information to share with families later this week.
