Students at Monroe-Woodbury High School have the opportunity to take a three-year college level Scientific Research course offered through SUNY Albany. During their time in the course students dedicate over 240 hours of in-class and independent time to their original research and course work, present their research in national science competitions, and participate in the annual MWHS Science Research Symposium. This year's Symposium was held on May 19th, and featured research by over 30 MWHS students!
Every year at the Symposium, alumni of the program share how they were inspired and impacted by their experiences, and how those experiences have continued to shape their lives after graduating high school.
