Athletic fields closed for public use

on January 2, 2020

The Monroe-Woodbury Central School District is committed to the safety of our community members and the protection of our residents’ investment in the updated outdoor athletic facilities. We are reminding community members that outdoor and indoor athletic facilities are closed for public use. Security personnel is monitoring the facilities at all times.

The fields located on the M-W High School campus remain an active construction zone. Work will continue on the running track in the spring. Once completed, the track will be open for public use. Please stay tuned for updates.

Individuals, groups, teams or organizations interested in utilizing district facilities must complete an application, gain district approval and secure a permit. School sanctioned teams, organizations and physical education classes will be utilizing the fields under the supervision of a coach, teacher or advisor.

The access roads located near the fields are reserved for construction and school vehicles only. Thank you for your adherence to this rule.

The M-W community put their faith in the school district in 2018 when they overwhelmingly approved the capital project. Our goal is to maintain the state-of-the-art facilities for years to come.

If you have any questions related to the facilities usage, please visit the facilities page on the district website. Additional questions may be addressed to [email protected].

Thank you for your continuous cooperation and patience!
