flyer to update student equipmentPlease be sure that your student Chromebook or iPad is fully charged and completely up to date before school starts on Tuesday. Here are the steps:

  1. Plug in your Chromebook or iPad and let it charge for a few minutes.
  2. Turn it on.
  3. Be sure it is connected to the internet* (see below for help).
  4. Let it run for a few minutes.
  5. Turn off your Chromebook or iPad.
  6. Turn it back on again.

Repeat those steps several times over the weekend. Updates happen when the computer shuts down and then starts again. Why do it over several times? Some updates can only run after another one is finished. Depending how long your computer has been shut down, it may need to run a several updates.

* If you are having trouble connecting to the internet, use your phone or other device to go to the Remote Learning Center and look for the About Chromebooks or About iPads sections for help. You can also look at videos on the MWFITT Academy section of the INSPIRE page on the website.
