Every year dozens of local individuals, groups and organizations offer scholarships in varying amounts to Monroe-Woodbury’s graduating seniors. Requirements for these scholarships vary so it is important to look carefully at each one. To simplify the process of applying for this important support, the Guidance Department created a Common Scholarship Application, accompanied by a complete list of the scholarships available. To assist you, high school teacher  Mr. Gawron created a video to tell you how to complete the application process.

Here are a few things you need to know: (these are also covered in the video)

1. You will be required to make a copy of the Application and other documents. Be sure you save them to your Google Drive with your name in the title.
2. Some scholarships require essays or additional information so be certain you complete all the necessary paperwork.
3. The Scholarship Awards Ceremony to recognize the winners will held on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 6:00 pm. Mark your calendar now because you need to attend to receive any scholarships.
4. Deadline: Completed applications and any additional forms or information must be submitted by Friday, February 26, 2021. Plan ahead to have recommendations and all documents ready.
