News from the PTSA

Did you know? The high school PTA is actually a PTSA. Why the extra S? The S is for Students. The association works to represent all participants in high school life: parents; teachers; and students! Why should students join? PTSA members are student leaders who are committed to improving their school.

Check out this link to find out more about why students should join:

September was Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month.

Go gold banner for pediatric cancer awarenessOn Friday, September 27, Monroe-Woodbury observed Go Gold Day to help build awareness of pediatric cancer. The Monroe-Woodbury High School PTSA supported this observance by providing t-shirts at cost for anyone who wished to order one. The response was overwhelming and as a result, the manufacturer discounted the price, generating surplus cash of $4,500 that was shared between Truth 365 and Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley.
