Dear Monroe-Woodbury families and staff,

I hope you all enjoyed your winter break. We are so excited to see students and staff back in our schools this week. I am writing with the latest COVID-19 report as well as some additional social-emotional resources for students, staff and families.

COVID-19 Report

This week’s COVID-19 report includes cases confirmed from Monday, February 15 – Wednesday, February 24. The increased number of positive cases is due to the extended reporting period, including the winter recess.

Contact tracing has been completed for all confirmed cases.

NY Project Hope

NY Project Hope is a new Orange County mental health resource that provides COVID related support. Project Hope offers free bilingual counseling and resources to anyone (students or adults) who calls for help.

This free service can provide up to 5 sessions of counseling, which can be delivered individually or in a group, depending upon need. They can link people with community resources and ongoing counseling support. Project Hope also provides virtual presentations to community groups.
