Message from Superintendent letterhead

March 10, 2021

Dear Monroe-Woodbury families and staff,

I am writing with the latest update regarding confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Monroe-Woodbury Central School District.

COVID-19 Report

This week’s COVID-19 report includes cases confirmed from Thursday, March 4 – Wednesday, March 10, 2021.

Students

  • 3 Monroe-Woodbury Middle School students
    • Cohort B
  • 3 Monroe-Woodbury High School students
    • 1 Cohort B
    • 2 Cohort C

Staff:

  • 1 Monroe-Woodbury Middle School staff member

Contact tracing is underway and will be completed this evening. If you do not hear from the school district, you may assume you (if you are a staff member) or your child is not at risk of exposure.

Parent/Guardian Questionnaire – submission deadline March 15

Earlier this week, building principals shared a questionnaire asking parents/guardians to select an instructional schedule for each child for the remainder of the year. Options include five days of in-person instruction or fully remote instruction.

The district requires all families to complete this form. Please submit your responses by Monday, March 15. Note: you only need to submit responses once.

Thank you for your support as we move to the next phase of fully reopening our schools. Please reach out to your building principal if you have not received the questionnaire.

Warm regards,

Elsie Rodriguez
Superintendent of Schools
