CV Water Testing update – June 15, 2021

on June 15, 2021

School districts are required by NY State to regularly test water “used or potentially used for drinking or cooking.”  Monroe-Woodbury’s water testing was done in March of this year. At Central Valley, the test results were inconclusive for two sinks, one in Room 203 and the other in Room 204. As a result, both sinks were marked “Do Not Drink” while retesting was completed.

On June 15, the district was informed that both sinks have passed their retest and it is safe to remove the “Do Not Drink” signs. For further information, please review the Water Testing page of the district website. Results from Central Valley’s retest are found on the 2021 Testing Results page.
