CVPTA asks “Why not an online pizza party?”

on February 19, 2021

How can you gather lots of students for an evening of fun when they can’t all be together? The Central Valley PTA came up with a unique answer when they hosted an online pizza-making party on Google Meet. Together with Jay’s Deli in Highland Mills, who provided pizza-making kits for all the participating families, they developed a plan. How did it go? The results are in. CVE’s first Virtual Pizza Making Night was a huge success! Students and families came together to socialize and have some virtual fun. Led by some of our Central Valley administrators and faculty as our “mystery chefs,” the children heard stories, warmed up with a quick workout, and tried their hands at becoming pizza chefs. At the end of the night there were huge smiles on their faces and delicious pizza in their bellies! The Central Valley PTA extends special thanks to the staff at Jay’s Deli for their support, and to all the families who joined in!
