Faulty sensor activates fire alarm, building is safe

on April 15, 2021

On Thursday, April 15 at approximately 10:28 a.m., Monroe-Woodbury High School students and staff were temporarily evacuated when a fire alarm sounded in the building. The Woodbury Fire Department arrived within minutes and it was determined a faulty heat sensor had caused the alarm to activate. 

The building was deemed safe for reentry by fire officials, and students and staff returned to the building at 10:51 a.m.
