Four seniors receive World Languages Awards on June 4

The World Languages Department celebrated their Spanish, French and Italian Honor Society members on Friday, June 4. The festive event included food and music presented in all three languages. In preparation for graduation, the seniors received their Language Honors cords and the officers received stoles recognizing their leadership in the Honor Societies. The World Languages Academic awards, including a special, first time ever Polyglot award, were presented. The Polyglot award honors a student who studies and excels in all three languages taught at Monroe-Woodbury. Recipient Sevinch Mansurova not only studies French, Italian and Spanish, she is also fluent in Russian. Congratulations!  ¡Felicidades! Toutes nos felicitations! Congratulazioni!
