HS students organize letter writing effort to benefit Make-A-Wish through Macy’s Believe campaign

on December 1, 2020

Each year, members of the Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) and Kids Changing the World (KCW) have organized a letter writing campaign to Santa through Macy’s Annual Believe Campaign. All proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish®, helping dreams come true this holiday season for children with serious illnesses.

In past years, National Believe Day was hosted on a single day and Macy’s doubled all donations made. This year, National Believe Day will take place online over the course of an entire week from Sunday, November 29, 2020, through Saturday, December 5, 2020. For every letter received this week, Macy’s will DOUBLE the $1 donation to Make-A-Wish®—that’s $2 per letter—to create life-changing wishes for critically ill children all across the country.

Last year, students from Monroe-Woodbury High School submitted over 1,400 letters! Since all letters are submitted online or in stores this year, we invite the M-W community to submit a letter online and make a $1 donation that will be doubled by Macy’s.
