Important reminders as students return to the buildings

Good Afternoon,

We are very excited to welcome our hybrid model students into the building tomorrow!  We have a few important items to make you aware of as we start this new phase of instruction.  Please read through the following information carefully.

  1. Arrival: Bus traffic and personal vehicle traffic are being separated in order to make our arrival as efficient and safe as possible.  The building will open at 8:00 AM and students, upon arrival, will report to their designated “House” entrances.  Please complete the SNAP COVID-19 questionnaire prior to 7:30 AM so that your child is on the pre-screened list to report to Advisory. Parents will be able to locate their students bus information posted in the Parent Portal. 
  2. Advisory: All students will proceed to their Advisory after entering the building. If you are a student who will need breakfast, please go directly to the cafeteria and then, when done eating, straight to Advisory.
  3. Dress Warm:We have increased airflow in our building and some classrooms may be colder than usual and you may be going outside for mask breaks so please dress appropriately for the weather.
  4. Chromebooks: Don’t forget to bring your Chromebook and please make sure that it is fully charged and ready to go for class tomorrow! 
  5. Lunch: All students will be eating in the lunchroom, socially distanced, and will be assisted by our lunch monitors as they navigate our new lunch procedures. Please refer to the email sent on Friday regarding food services for further information.
  6. Dismissal: Students will leave the building immediately at the end of the day (3:00 PM) and report directly to their bus or, if being picked up by a parent, to the turn around area on the side of the building nearest the flagpole.  For parents picking up their children, please stay to the right upon turning into the parking lot off of Dunderberg Road.
  7. Materials Distribution: If you were unable to come last week to pick up your C Cohort student materials, please call the Main Office to arrange a pick up for these much needed items. 
  8. Weekly Schedule: If you need a reminder of what our schedule will be for the next two weeks please refer to the Parent Phases Document here. Please see the parent email (“Track Assignment”) that was sent on Friday for your specific schedule for the week.

Thank you all for a terrific start to our school year and we look forward to successfully navigating this next phase of our reopening plan!  Please be reminded to wear a mask tomorrow at all times except when eating in the cafeteria or being permitted to do so by a teacher during a mask break.  Have a great rest of the week ahead!
