Incident at the high school

on November 7, 2018

High school administrators were alerted earlier today that a student had brought knives into the high school. Per district protocol, administrators immediately notified School Resource Officer Charles Tausk, who was on campus at the time, as well as local law enforcement. The knives were confiscated and the student was removed from the building without incident.

Monroe-Woodbury has a zero tolerance policy against weapons in our school buildings. The safety of our students and staff is always our highest priority.
