M-W student athletes take on “Orange Cares” Challenge

on December 23, 2020

When challenged by their coaches to participate in the “Orange Cares” initiative, Monroe-Woodbury student athletes stepped up. Big time.

Fifteen M-W teams represented by 70+ student athletes, hundreds of letters have made their way to our region’s frontline workers, nursing home residents and hospital patients.

Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus launched the “Orange Cares” initiative as a way to give thanks and pay tribute to the people who continue to work on the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic and bring some holiday joy to the County’s nursing home residents and those who are in the hospital over the holidays.

Crusaders care about our community and thank the people who are making a difference each day.
