M-W Girls Track & Field wins 5th consecutive O.C.I.A.A. championship

Girls track team wins 5th consecutive OCIAA Championship.The Monroe-Woodbury Varsity Girls Track and Field Team won their 5th consecutive O.C.I.A.A. Championship over the weekend, scoring 137.50 points to 106 points, defeating a tough and determined Cornwall High School.

Individual county champions include junior Daniella Napoli in the 1000 meters and freshmen Alicia Johnson in the long jump. The 3200 meter relay led by Jessica Pidgeon, Ella DePhillips, Kristina Boylan, and Daniella Napoli won the county championship in this event and the 1600 meter relay team consisting of Angela Iaccarino, Hannah Kelly, Amelia Giraud, and Asya Jeune won the county championship in this event as well. Together it was a great team victory.
