Dear Monroe-Woodbury families,

The school district has confirmed three COVID positive student cases in Monroe-Woodbury High School.

One student has not been in the building so contact tracing is not necessary for this positive case. Contact tracing for the other two positive hybrid students (A Cohort) is underway. The school district is notifying staff and students who may have been exposed while the students were in the building. Contact tracing will be completed tonight. If you do not hear from the school district, you may assume your child is not at risk of exposure.

As of today, 32 staff members are quarantined. To ensure continuity of learning for our students, the high school will pivot to fully remote instruction beginning Friday, November 13 through Thursday, November 19. Students will return to the building on Friday, November 20. We will continue to update you if further changes to student schedules are necessary.

Please email MWHS Principal John Kaste at [email protected] with any questions.

Warm regards,

Elsie Rodriguez
Superintendent of Schools
