Project Linus is a national organization whose mission is to bring comfort to children who have been ill, had surgery or have suffered some traumatic event in their young lives.

This year, members of the Monroe-Woodbury Central School District family created 260 blankets for Project Linus, exceeding last year’s total by 70! Kudos to bus attendant Susan Pratt, who organizes the effort each year, and to the Bus Garage for leading the charge. Blankets were made by bus drivers, bus attendants, office staff and other district employees.

The blankets will be distributed to local hospitals in Orange County and other agencies that support children. M-W applauds members of the M-W family who have helped make a difference in the lives of children. #mwcares
