February 5, 2021
Dear Monroe-Woodbury families,
I am writing with a few updates regarding next week’s student schedule:
- Weather forecasts indicate that our region may experience some wintry weather early next week. Reports currently call for a snow event beginning either on Monday, February 8 or Tuesday, February 9.
- Regardless of the weather, Monday, February 8 will be a typical remote day of instruction for all M-W students.
- I will send a correspondence on Monday if we need to cancel after school activities due to weather conditions.
I will be in touch as soon as we have a clearer picture of the timing and potential impacts of the snow event on the region.
Just a reminder to please send along questions for our upcoming Crusader Chats: School Edition. All M-W building principals will be providing updates about our school buildings and will answer your questions during these sessions. Questions may be submitted via the online form, emailed to [email protected] or you may leave a voice message at 845-460-6200, ext. 6262. The chats will air on the district’s YouTube channel @MWCSD1 on Wednesday, February 10 (elementary schools) and Friday, February 12 (MWMS and MWHS).
Enjoy your Superbowl weekend.
Warm regards,
Elsie Rodriguez
Superintendent of Schools
