All Night Graduation Party tickets will be on sale in B Common on April 14-17. Get your tickets early!

January 14, 2020 Meeting Notes

Thank you all who came out to the January meeting!
Mr. Kaste spoke about ‘all things senior’ as outline below:

Cap & Gowns
  • Entire school voted on the possibility of introducing a new cap and gown, and it will remain traditional – boys in purple and girls in white.
  • Measurements will be March 17 & 18
Diploma Names –
  • An email was sent out by the High School on January 6th. If you would like changes made to your child’s diploma name, they need to be sent in to the High School by February 10th.
Senior Trip –
  • Any trips that are school sponsored, will have permission slips. All information from the school is done in advance, the school is not sponsoring a trip to an island.
Prom Presentations – there are 2 left
  • Tuesday, March 10
  • Tuesday, April 28
Senior Picnic –
  • details are being worked on now, more information will be presented at the February meeting.
Communication –

We need your help in spreading the word. We only have a 110 people on our email distribution list and 139 followers on our Facebook Page. Please forward this email to all senior parents you know and ask them to send us an email asking to be added to the email distribution list.

Fundraising –

25% of our goal has been raised so far, with Pocketbook Bingo and Flocking raising more money than was projected. The Clothing Drive and MacBook Raffle both netted our projected numbers.

Upcoming Fundraisers:
  • Saturday, February 15 – Paint Night with the Traveling Teacher – 11×14 canvas with your choice of paintings – Please see attached flyer for more info.
  • Friday, February 28 – Night of Baskets Fundraiser – Hosted by the Andreala Family – they are running this similar to a Pocketbook Bingo and encouraging couples to attend as there will be baskets geared toward the men as well – some of the ‘baskets’ include laptops, printers, Keurig, Yankees and many more.
  • Friday, April 24 – Pocketbook Bingo
  • Saturday, April 18 – Clothing Drive at the High School

We are continuing to collect the following:

  • Waivers – parents/guardians AND students must sign the waivers – MUST BE RECEIVED BY March 30th!

We are now accepting payment for Lawn Signs, Tickets and all events via PayPal (Use our email: [email protected] – select ‘friends and family’) and Venmo (search MWangp, and select Dawn [email protected]) – PLEASE remember to include what the payment is for.

Monroe-Woodbury High School All Night Graduation Party is an all-night, alcohol and drug-free graduation celebration exclusively for the Monroe-Woodbury graduates. The event is held at the High School on Graduation Night from 11:00 p.m. – 4:00 a.m.

This event is produced by parent volunteers and is supported by the MWHS PTA and the M-W Community. The All Night Graduation Party would not be possible without the support of the M-W school district including the High School administration, parents, community and local businesses.

Thank you for continuing to make the All Night Graduation Party a safe, memorable night for our graduates!


  • The All Night Graduation Party is for the 2020 Graduating Seniors ONLY.
  • Typically, over 80% of the graduating class attends the event.


  • The event is held at Monroe-Woodbury High School – 155 Dunderberg Rd, Central Valley, NY 10917


  • The night is full of activities, food, prizes, gifts, music and entertainment.
  • We transform the High School through decoration based on a theme. We do our best to keep it a surprise for the graduates.


  • Graduation Night – Friday, June 26, 2020 from 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. (Saturday, June 27).


  • Our goal is to provide a safe, fun environment for graduates to celebrate with their classmates.
  • All parent/guardians and graduates will be required to sign a waiver/permission form prior to purchasing tickets (registration) for event.


  1. Donate Goods- we need food, gift cards and prizes.
  2. Donate Money- we gladly accept monetary donations to defray the cost of producing this event.
  3. Fundraise- there are multiple fundraisers throughout the year. All proceeds go directly to the production of the event.
  4. Volunteer- to produce and manage this event successfully, over 200 volunteers are needed working in shifts throughout the school year and also on the night of the party.

Order your M-W Class of 2020 Graduate Lawn Sign

Our flamingos have gone south for the winter and will be back to flock you friends and family when the ground thaws!

photo of floamingo flockThe 2020 M-W ANGP Committee will deliver these fine feathered friends to the front yard of anyone in the district  to raise money to fund the senior class All Night Graduation Party. For a small donation of $10 or more, a flock will be sent to any yard you choose. Of course, the flock will be removed at no charge 24 to 48 hours after it has roosted.  Those who have been flocked will receive information as to the donor who flocked them and have an opportunity to return the favor! Surprise someone and help provide a safe, fun-filled evening after graduation.

“Specialty Flocks” are also available upon request for an additional charge of $10 and up. (Specialty flockings need to be ordered in advance of special date.) Send one for a birthday, anniversary or get well! Personalized signs can be created.
