M-W High School Yearbook

THE SHIELD

Text reads: Their Friends. Their Stories. One Year. One Book. Last Chance to Preserve it All.
Created by high school students with the supervision of yearbook advisors, The Shield is their record of their high school experience.

About the Yearbook

The yearbook at Monroe Woodbury High School is a not-for-profit function of the school. In addition to covering production costs for the 340-page all color volume, the hard-working staff of the high school raises funds to cover expenses of recruitment, technology, production, training and more. Keeping the cost of the book affordable for as many students as possible is important to the yearbook staff.

The Monroe-Woodbury High School yearbook is entirely dependent upon:

  • Community Support: patron support and advertising from community businesses and organizations
  • Senior Baby Ads created and sponsored by senior parents, guardians and loved ones
  • student purchases of the yearbook

While publication costs continue to rise, the staff has made every effort to keep the student purchase price at a level affordable to students while also keeping all the features that make Monroe-Woodbury’s yearbook a one of a kind publication. Please consider supporting the yearbook through one or more of the advertising options.

Senior Portrait Information

In the interest of uniformity and quality, all Yearbook Photos should be taken by Prestige Portraits by Lifetouch, Inc. Seniors were sent an appointment card through the mail.  It states the specific day and time that student should be photographed.  It is the responsibility of each senior to call and re-schedule his/her appointment if the day and time are not convenient.

As the 2020-2021 school year approaches, some of the events that make the Senior year unique and special are beginning.  The first of these is Senior Portraits. As we continue to navigate through COVID 19, we have been working with Lifetouch/Prestige Photography to provide the best opportunity for our Seniors to partake in Senior Portraits. Recently, you should have received a postcard in the mail with information concerning Senior Portraits.  If you did not, do not worry, I am going to provide you with the information that was on the card as well as other details.

If you received the card it contained a registration code unique to your child as well as the packages you could purchase. The registration code is needed to book your “Online Reservation” for the photo session. If you did not receive the post card with your seniors unique code or misplaced it. Please email me with the subject “Portrait Code”. Please include your Senior’s name in the body of the email.

Important Senior Portrait Dates and Times:
