Valentines have been shipped out!

During the month of January, the Pine Tree Patriot Club held its annual Valentine’s Day Card Campaign.  The club made posters and promoted this effort to the whole school, encouraging all students to make a Valentine’s Day Card for a service member.  Their extremely successful campaign collected over 500 cards!  The cards were split up and sent to Major Scott Christman’s 201st Train Advise Assist Command-East, to men and women currently serving in Afghanistan.  The other cards were delivered to Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney’s Valentines for Veterans Campaign supporting our local VA Hospitals in the Hudson Valley. Congratulations to the Patriot Club on a wonderful gift of love!

The Pine Tree Patriot Club supports our troops and veterans.  The club is made up of students impacted by deployment and students who are committed to supporting our military families. Members meet not only to share experiences with each other, but also to receive support from the school and from other resources. More information about the Pine Tree Patriot Club is available here.
