Patriot Club stuffs stockings of love for troops

The members of Pine Tree’s Patriot Club are committed to showing gratitude in special ways to the men and women who have committed their lives to serving our country. Each holiday season, the Patriot Club works in conjunction with Town 4 Troops to collect personal items, snacks, writing utensils and more for active military. On December 7, members of the Pine Tree Patriot Club stuffed more than 100 Christmas stockings full of these much needed items. Military personnel and their families at Stewart Military Base in Newburgh will receive these stockings prior to their deployment this holiday season. Special thanks to Maureen and Tom Lowe, Directors of Operations of the Towns 4 Troops, who will make the delivery.

Town 4 Troops is a non-for-profit dedicated to meeting the needs of active military here at home and those deployed. Pine Tree Elementary School Patriot Club members and their families enjoy supporting this organization by stuffing the stockings annually.
