Smith Clove’s 1st Graders shine in Be Brave Parade

on November 3, 2021

Traditional Red Ribbon Week favorites are the student parades at Smith Clove. This year’s theme, Be Brave, featured banners created by 1st grade students that reminded them about being brave. The parade from the Smith Clove main entrance was kicked off by a police car with lights blazing. After marching around the the parking lot to the playground, each class was greeted by Woodroe, the Monroe-Woodbury mascot. Laughter and cheering, along with an important message, were heard loud and clear!
