Teacher Spotlight: Mrs. Jeanna Palmer, North Main Elementary

on May 24, 2021

When Jeanna Palmer began teaching 21 years ago in a North Main Elementary classroom, she couldn’t have known that she would be in that very same classroom teaching fourth grade all these years later. Known for her smiles, high energy and creative spirit, Mrs. Palmer is wholeheartedly committed to her students. Even during this lengthy pandemic, Mrs. Palmer has always put the needs of her students first.

A parent reached out to share why Mrs. Palmer should be featured in the Spotlight. Here is what she wrote:

“I saw your teacher spotlight on Facebook and wanted to nominate a teacher. Mrs Palmer is my son’s 4th grade teacher at North Main. She is so amazing at balancing the hybrid kids, I listen to her teach every day and I am blown away at how she manages kids at home and in the classroom at the same time with ease. She is so positive and upbeat which definitely helps with last minute schedule changes. She gives each child individual attention so no one is left behind which makes me feel confident that my child will not fall behind during this crazy time. I would love to see her recognized as an extraordinary teacher because she deserves it! Thanks for taking the time to read my little testimonial about Mrs Palmer.”

You’re a rock star, Mrs. Palmer! Enjoy the Spotlight!
