On Saturday, April 7 two Monroe-Woodbury Middle School teams competed at the 39th annual New York State Odyssey of the Mind Tournament in Binghamton, NY. The teams proudly represented themselves, our school and our community as they impressed the judges with their teamwork, creativity and perseverance. The results were impressive!
Team Hutter placed 5th of the 19 teams in their division. Their camaraderie and love for problem solving was infectious. They are already brainstorming ideas for next season!
Team McInerney placed 2nd of the 19 teams in their division and is eligible to compete at the 39th annual World Finals competition in Ames, Iowa in May! The team has a few weeks to continue making improvements in their performance with the goal of winning another world championship title for Monroe-Woodbury!
