Monroe-Woodbury Creative Crusaders – Odyssey of the Mind STATE CHAMPS 2019!
On Saturday, March 23, two Monroe-Woodbury Middle School teams dominated at the 40th annual New York State Odyssey of the Mind Tournament in Binghamton, NY. Both Team McInerney and Team Hutter competed against more than 16 teams from all over the state. Their comradery and love for problem solving were infectious. By winning their problem and division, each team qualified to compete at the 40th annual World Finals competition in East Lansing, Michigan in May. Over the next two months, the teams will be making improvements to their performances in hopes of winning another world championship title for Monroe-Woodbury!
Congratulations to these teams for their hard work and dedication! Both teams represented themselves, M-W Middle School and this community as they impressed the judges with their teamwork, creativity and perseverance.
