Updated High School water testing results

on August 23, 2021

Following the initial water testing completed at Monroe-Woodbury High School in March, a second series of tests was performed in June to determine whether further remediation was required. Those results were received last week. In March, 4 fixtures (sinks and a hand washing station) were identified as exceeding the action level of 15 micrograms of lead per liter. Retesting those fixtures identified only one, a sink in the large kitchen, that will require additional remediation. The remaining fixtures all tested below the action level. That action level fixture will continue to be posted with signs indicating that it cannot be used for drinking while additional remediation options are evaluated.
