Updated water testing at Central Valley – June 15, 2021

on August 30, 2021

Following the initial water testing completed at Central Valley Elementary School in March and revised in April, a new series of tests was performed in June to determine whether further remediation was required. Those results were reported on August  30. In February, 16 fixtures were identified as exceeding the action level of 15 micrograms of lead per liter. Retesting those fixtures identified just two that will require additional remediation. The remaining fixtures all tested below the action level. Those action level fixtures will continue to be posted with signs indicating that they cannot be used for drinking while additional remediation options are evaluated.
