It's fitting that Stevie Angel is the final M-W employee to be recognized this school year. This “Crusader Cause for Applause” recipient is a man who wears many hats and serves multiple students and departments. Described as kind, committed and reliable, Stevie is always willing to help out fellow team members. For over 20 years, this proud M-W Crusader who graduated from OU BOCES CTech program, has worked as a courier making sure all departments have exactly what they need, when they need it.

Stevie is dedicated to the district's athletics program, selflessly supporting student-athletes. His unwavering support for the athletic department has made a lasting impact on the lives of so many.

Whether ensuring timely deliveries or stepping in to assist with the needs of the team, he is always ready to lend a helping hand. His legacy will live on way past his time here at Monroe-Woodbury.

Stevie was nominated by Director of Buildings and Grounds Andrzej Rudiak who said, “Stevie has been with us for over 20 years, and in that time, he has proven to be much more than just a courier - he is a pillar of our community. He is a tremendous asset to our food service department, demonstrating his commitment to serving the greater good. His reliability, kindness, and willingness to go above and beyond every single day make him truly deserving of our appreciation.”

Thank you, Stevie, for over two decades of service and commitment to the Monroe-Woodbury community!
