Dear Parents and Guardians,
Due to the forecasted heat advisory and in the interest of student and staff safety, we have made the decision to postpone our Field Day, originally scheduled for Friday, June 12, 2026.
Field Day will now take place on our designated rain date, Monday, June 15, 2026.
While we know students have been looking forward to this exciting event, the anticipated high temperatures and heat index values create conditions that are not conducive to a safe and enjoyable outdoor experience. Moving the event allows us to provide a more comfortable environment for all participants.
At this time, there is a chance of rain in the forecast for Monday. We will continue to closely monitor weather conditions and will communicate any additional changes if necessary. We remain hopeful that the weather will cooperate and allow us to hold this special event for our students.
All Field Day activities and schedules will remain the same unless otherwise communicated. If you signed up to volunteer, The PTA will be in touch to confirm your availability on Monday. If you are now available due to the date change, please email the CV PTA @centralvalleypta@gmail.com.
Additional information will be shared as we get closer to the new date.
