National Honor Society Induction Ceremony

Congratulations to the 86 hardworking students who were inducted into the Monroe-Woodbury High School Chapter of the National Honor Society on Thursday, January 11. The ceremony was held in the HS auditorium where students, family members, friends, faculty and staff gathered to celebrate students' accomplishments. The new members are a combination of juniors and seniors who have fulfilled 50 hours of community service and maintained a 92.0 cumulative grade point average. They have also demonstrated their commitment to leadership and service in the school and community, as well as personal qualities of respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, fairness, caring, and citizenship.

As members signed their promise to uphold the values of the National Honor Society, they were congratulated by Chapter President Lars Poutsma, Vice President Reese Dolan, Secretary Neena Bisconti, and Communications Officer Isabelle Varghese, as well as High School Principal Elisa Soto.

"Congratulations to the 86 inductees!  Our M-W community thanks you and we look forward to the upcoming year and working with you as new members of the NHS. Your dedication to scholarship, leadership, service, and character are truly commendable.  Wishing you continued success in all your endeavors," said Principal Soto.

Well done, Crusaders!
