On Friday, April 24, MWHS students in the World Language Honor Societies, along with their advisors, Mrs. DeLong and Mr. Clark, joined forces with ShopRite to raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Students greeted customers at the entrance, singing about the foundation’s mission while sharing information about the organization’s impact and how these contributions help grant life-changing wishes.
Throughout the day, students heard moving stories from generous donors about children undergoing cancer treatment whose wishes had been granted through this amazing organization. The experience left a lasting impression on the students and staff who volunteered, as well as the Monroe-Woodbury community at large.
