Dear Parents and Students,
On Tuesday, August 18 and Wednesday, August 19, the New York State Regents Exams will be administered at Monroe-Woodbury High School. Morning exams begin at 7:30 a.m., and afternoon exams begin at 11:30 a.m. Students should arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of their exam (the building will open at 7:00 a.m.).
Please note:
Electronic devices of any kind are not permitted in testing rooms.
Students from other school districts must present a photo ID or school ID to enter the testing site.
Monroe-Woodbury students should bring their school ID if available.
Pick-up times are 10:30 a.m. for the morning session and 2:30 p.m. for the afternoon session.
Transportation is not provided.
Below is the testing regulations procedures and exam schedule. Specific testing room assignments will be provided to students upon arrival. All students should bring a blue or black ballpoint pen and a pencil for each exam. Additional testing materials will be supplied as needed.

Testing Information, Regulations and Procedures
I. STUDENT TRANSPORTATION
Students are responsible for providing their own transportation to and from each Regents Exam.
Regents Exam Dates:
Tuesday, August 18, 2026
Wednesday, August 19, 2026
Arrival Times:
Morning Exams: Arrive by 7:15 a.m. for a 7:30 a.m. start.
Afternoon Exams: Arrive by 11:15 a.m. for an 11:30 a.m. start.
Uniform Admission Deadlines:
Morning Exams: 9:15 a.m.
Afternoon Exams: 1:15 p.m.
No student may enter/begin a New York State Regents Exam after 9:15 a.m. or 1:15 p.m., or be excused before 10:30 a.m. or 2:30 p.m.
Important for Out-of-District Students:
Any out-of-district student must present a physical copy of their IEP or 504 Plan to an administrator upon check-in. A digital copy must also be sent in advance by the student’s home district.
II. MATERIALS
Students must bring a blue or black pen (no gel pens) and a pencil for each exam. Additional testing materials will be provided as needed.
III. COMMUNICATION DEVICES
The possession or use of any communication device during state and local examinations is strictly prohibited—both in the testing room and during supervised breaks (such as restroom visits).
Prohibited devices include, but are not limited to:
Cell phones
iPods and MP3 players
iPads, tablets, and other eReaders
Personal laptops, notebooks, or other computing devices
Cameras or other photographic equipment
Wearable devices/smart wearables (including smartwatches and health trackers with a display)
Headphones, headsets, or earbuds
Any device capable of recording or viewing audio, photo, or video content
If any such device is seen or used in any manner, or if headphones are worn in the testing room, the exam will be invalidated and no score will be calculated.
IV. CONFLICT
Students and parents should review the testing schedule immediately for conflicts (e.g., more than one exam scheduled at the same time). Conflicts must be reported to the Summer School Principal at cconway@mw.k12.ny.us.
V. STUDENT ABSENCES AND MAKE-UP EXAMS
Absences from New York State Regents Exams cannot be made up until the next scheduled administration in January 2027 or June 2027.
