More than 600 letters to Santa were delivered to Macy's Staff and representatives from The Hudson Valley Chapter of Make*A*Wish. Way to go, MWHS! That means $1,200 will be donated by Macy's to Make*A*Wish because of YOU!


Due to the forecast for continued inclement weather through the evening, all after school activities are cancelled today, Friday, December 16, including YMCA Club Kid and Community Swim.

All Monroe-Woodbury schools will operate on a two-hour delay schedule today, Friday, December 16, due to slippery road conditions.
Schools will open on the following schedule:
M-W High School – 9:10 a.m. start time
M-W Middle School – 10:15 a.m. start time (early drop-off classes begin at 9:25 a.m.)
Sapphire and Smith Clove (K-1) – 10:30 a.m. start time
Central Valley, North Main and Pine Tree – 11:15 a.m. start time
Safe travels this morning!


All Monroe-Woodbury schools will be dismissed early today, Thursday, December 15, 2022, due to anticipated inclement weather. The early dismissal is to ensure all students arrive home safely.
Dismissal times are as follows:
M-W High School – 10:30 a.m. dismissal
M-W Middle School – 11:37 a.m. dismissal
Sapphire and Smith Clove (K-1) – 11:45 a.m. dismissal
Central Valley, North Main, Pine Tree – 12:45 p.m. dismissal
Families should expect buses to arrive at bus stops 3 hours earlier than usual. All after school activities and YMCA Club Kid are cancelled. Safe travels today!

Huge shout-out to two M-W athletes!⚽️💜 Olivia Shippee has earned the prestigious All- American Status from the United Soccer Coaches Association and has made the All Regional East Team and First Team All-State. REMINDER: The proposed Capital Improvement Project Vote will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, December 6, from 6 a.m. - 9 p.m. at the Education Center, 278 Route 32, Central Valley, NY.

HIGH SCHOOL PICTURE RETAKE DAY IS TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 15
If you want to have your photo retaken, or if you missed having your picture taken at all, plan on having it done on Tuesday between 7:00 am and 2:00 pm in the Library. Be sure to stop by during a free period!
If you are having a retake, bring your original photos to turn them in. An email with a link for purchase will be emailed to the parents/guardians of all students whose picture is taken on Tuesday.

The M-W Girls and Boys Cross Country Section IX Class Champs 💪 will soon be on their way to the NYSPHSAA Championships. The race will take place on Saturday, November 12, at Vernon Verona Sherrill HS. Good luck, Crusaders! 🔥⭐️ Sending good vibes your way! 💜


As part of our preparation for the winter months, our buildings and grounds crew will be taking down the tennis nets on Thursday, November 10. Counting the days until spring!
