Dreaming of becoming a pilot since he was young, Zak took his very first lesson at Wurtsboro Airport at the age of 13 and is on track to ensure this dream comes true. #Summer2025 ✈🇺🇸

Mr. Sciulara of MWHS was recognized by student Kaitlyn Spektor. Kaitlyn said, “He gave me a reason to come to school when that was something very difficult for me to do. Even though I didn't perform to the best of my ability in school, he was still kind to me and made me feel comfortable enough in his class where I could go to him if I needed.” Kaitlyn’s message to Mr. Sciulara, “When I look back to middle school, (especially 8th grade) I realize it was a time that greatly impacted me, not only because of Covid but it was also just a very eventful chapter in my life for many reasons. Coming to school has always been something that is a struggle but you and your class were one of the only reasons that got me to school in the morning. Getting to your class and coming up with a joke every day truly was one of the only lights in my life at the time and making that cake is still one of my proudest moments BTW. Thank you for making me feel comfortable and safe in a world where that was never the case for me. I know I didn't perform well academically but you were kinder than most to me. I had potential and I think you saw that when I couldn't yet, so for that, I will forever thank you.” 🙂💜 Thank you, Mr. Sciulara! #attitudeofgratitude #mwfam
