MWHS students in Ms. Bulla’s Explore Teaching as a Profession program are introduced to careers in education. Through this program, many students learn that working in this field goes far beyond the traditional classroom teacher role. Education offers many paths, but all require commitment, empathy, and a heart for service, all characteristics of a Crusader! šŸ’œ

Fourth grade students in Ms. Coto’s class at North Main had a festive way to begin the season of giving. Students welcomed their families to a special presentation built around the book Balloons Over Broadway, a story that explains how the famous Thanksgiving Day parade floats first came to be.

After reading the book together and learning about Tony Sarg, the famous puppeteer who created the original balloons, students were divided into teams of five to design, create and present their own float. Great job, Crusaders! šŸ¦ƒšŸ™‚
