North Main third graders in Mrs. Gerowās and Ms. Bennettās classes recreated an extraordinary model of a Brazilian rainforest. Wrapping up their Social Studies Curriculum on Interdependent Relationships and Ecosystems in Science, students worked together to construct the four different layers of a rainforest. Vibrant illustrations of each layer were broken down into the forest floor, the understory, emergent layer and the canopy. Great job, Crusaders and remember, donāt poke the animals!

Job well done to all Crusaders who participated in North Mainās Fair! These young scientists displayed projects ranging from chemistry, physics and even environmental science. There was something for everyone to learn and enjoy. āš§Ŗ
