ā€œAmazing, hardworking and kind,ā€ is how Mrs. Fyza Reid describes the students of The North Main Newspaper Club. Under the direction of Mrs. Reid, this group of dedicated fourth and fifth graders meet every Friday morning before school to plan coverage of the many great events happening at North Main Elementary.

The students' dedication was recently acknowledged at a celebratory breakfast. This event, organized by Mrs. Reid, Editor Santino Lajara, and Assistant Editor Jax Vigo, included the presentation of special "press passes" to the students.

Excellent job, Crusaders! šŸ“°šŸ—žļø

Don't forget! Back to school!
Crusaders, take lunch off your to-do list! We’re happy to remind you that breakfast and lunch are available to all students at no cost to families each school day! No need to pack lunch (or breakfast). Our food service professional team is here to provide students with nutritious, balanced meals to help them learn, grow, and succeed.

If your child prefers to bring lunch from home, they are still welcome to take milk, fruit, vegetable, grain, and/or protein at no cost to complement their meal—our "Sidekick" meal.

We also offer convenient grab-and-go breakfast options that students can enjoy at school or save for later. Thank you for partnering with us to support your child’s health and learning—because every student deserves access to wholesome meals to be ready to learn each day.🄣🄪

If you have any questions, please email foodforthought@mw.k12.ny.us or call (845) 460-6200 ext 10159.
