Mrs. Milo of North Main was recognized by the family of JayliAna P. JayliAna P.’s family said, “Mrs.Milo has made an impact on my child because she helps her feel safe. My child also tells me she is one of the best teachers she’s had and that she feels more confident asking for help because of how caring and patient her teacher is.” JayliAna’s mother’s message, “As JayliAna’s mother, I would like to tell Mrs. Milo that she is appreciated. My husband and I are extremely happy our daughter has her as a caring and patient teacher. We understand that being a teacher can be demanding and difficult when dealing with many students but she’s doing amazing at it. Ms. Rubio of North Main was recognized by the family of Lucas G. Lucas G’s family said, “There are not enough words to describe how much Ms. Rubio impacted my family. This week we celebrate the people who make up the Monroe-Woodbury Transportation team as they continue to work hard ensuring our students are safely transported to and from school. Mrs. Hudson of North Main Elementary was recognized by fifth grader Abby E.’s mom who said, “I would love to shout out my daughter's teacher Mrs. Hudson! Abby absolutely adores her! She calls her Ms. Honey from Matilda and that's the energy she has! She's a gem and so sweet! I have noticed this year that Abby has had a surge in her confidence level! She says that Mrs. Hudson is always providing positive reinforcement and very supportive when it comes to school work. I love that she loves our children and that they create a vibrant, safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment! Abby will miss her but I'm glad she will be able to leave North Main with another year of having amazing teachers and go into 6th grade with the confidence she has gained and new passion for school work.” Abby E.’s mom’s message to Mrs. Hudson, “Thank you for everything you have given her this year! The music program has always been a cornerstone of the Monroe-Woodbury community and teachers such as Ms. Hotto from North Main continue to bring it to life. During Teacher Appreciation Week, Ms. Hotto was recognized by one of her students, Lauren C. Lauren’s mom said, “Ms. Hotto has always helped Lauren find her confidence in her musical abilities playing violin. She’s helped push her to be her best. Thank you for being there for both our girls throughout their time at North Main.
