Interested in running for the Board of Education?
Petitions to run for the Monroe-Woodbury Central School Board of Education are available at the District Clerk’s office at the Education Center, 278 Route 32, Central Valley, NY. Completed nominating petitions must be submitted to the District Clerk no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, April 17, 2023. For the May 16 election, a minimum of 34 signatures must be obtained.

The annual school budget vote and Board of Education election will take place on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. Voters will elect three (3) Board of Education trustees for three-year terms, commencing July 1, 2023 and expiring on June 30, 2026. The election will determine seats currently held by Michael Ciriello, Daniel Ezratty and Sergey Koyfman, who succeeded Donald Beeler after his retirement from the Board in February 2023.
