Monroe-Woodbury's Crusader team enjoyed an outstanding day in Middletown at the Orange County Special Olympics. Months of preparation with coaches Kim DiCurcio, Karen Escobar, Soraya Meyers and Dan Steiler paid off as they competed in both basketball and soccer. The results:
In basketball:
- First place was won by Ian and Jaxon
- Third place was won by William
- Fourth place was won by Emmanuel and Gerry
- Sixth place was won by Emma and Kaiden
In soccer:
