FACS students bake cake graphic

Ms. Rizzi's 'Nailed it' challenge began December 13th and lasted for 3 days. Students were challenged with recreating a cake, as designed by their teacher. The students worked in groups to: bake a double layer, 6" cake, sculpt penguins from fondant, make butter cream icing, crumb coat, and decorate using piping techniques. It was a job well done by all of those involved. Special thanks to Satin Fine Foods in Chester for donating the fondant, isomalt and icing mix. Well done!
