Dear Monroe-Woodbury families and staff,

We are monitoring the complex weather forecasts for tomorrow, Tuesday, January 9, through Wednesday, January 10, which currently call for a mix of heavy rainfall, snow and ice, as well as strong winds. This promises to be an unpredictable weather event, which includes rapid temperature changes that may quickly alter travel conditions or cause widespread power outages.

Please have arrangements in place in the event of an early dismissal, late arrival, or school closure and make sure that your child is aware of these alternative plans.

We will continue to track the weather to help make the best decisions for the safety of our students and staff. Any changes to student schedules will be shared with families and staff early tomorrow.

Warm regards,

Elsie Rodriguez
Superintendent of Schools
