December is normally one of the busiest months of the school year, so it felt like a holiday gift when Superintendent Norman filled in for Tammy Gerow, third grade teacher at North Main Elementary.
Before instructing the class and after many high-fives, Superintendent Norman gathered his students from the cafeteria.These Crusaders were eager to show their “new” third grade teacher their classroom and what lessons were in store for the remainder of the day.
Multiplication and division, vocabulary and spelling, along with some group activities kept everyone engaged. Superintendent Norman even showed off some fancy dance moves to get the students up and moving!
Next up in January: Dr. Norman will sub for Clare Duffy, Smith Clove AIS Math Teaching Assistant. Stay tuned!
